Imagine Dragons made me a Believer!!
The opening acts were ridiculous. I expected K.Flay to be far more extreme than Mannheim Steamroller. At one point the lead singers laid down on the ground and mocked sex, making disturbing noises into the microphone, rolling around on top of each other. But I was HORRIFIED by GroupLove, so cringy. So many children in the audience had to watch this. Bare in mind, there were. Now, I am a huge fan of Mannheim Steamroller. And although they made a huge comeback after these horrifying opening acts, I am disappointed that they chose these two bands to open for them. Mannheim Steamroller put on an amazing show. They made the evening worth it. They really know how to put on a show, even moving to a stage in the back of the arena, giving us a more intimate experience. I give them 5 stars, hands down. But absolutely wonderful show, so fun, so many unique aspects: lasers, video, background props, bubbles, confetti, balloons, and more. They absolutely recommend seeing them, and hope that their next tour features some better openers. It was incredible. Absolutely wonderful.
Not What I Expected.
"I have been a fan of Mannheim Steamroller for many years and this is the second concert that I have attended. His voice was in top form. The first half was excellent, as he sang various arias from well known operas. Instead we were all "treated" to listening to just about every song from his new Christmas CD. I expected the second half of the concert (as I'm sure most of his fans did too) to be mostly the songs that made him famous; his love songs. It was being promoted heavily by David Foster who joined him onstage the entire second half. Had I gone into the concert expecting a Christmas show, then I wouldn't have been disappointed, but I was so looking forward to hearing his popular songs and I was not pleased in the end. His ticket prices are not cheap and I feel that he did not deliver."

"I can't believe the amount of energy Mannheim Steamroller displayed on stage, given his recent health issues. I wouldn't have guessed he had been sick if I didn't know. I just hope he doesn't overdo it. The best part of the show, for me, was his outstanding personality and enthusiasm on stage. Everyone in our group loved the performance. The rest of the audience seemed to share the same sentiment. He is truly a remarkable performer. As for the music, he performed many of his Poison hits, mixed with some excellent acoustic songs and a few classic popular tunes from other artists. All were exceptional. I believe he is currently at the peak of his performance career. If the show comes near you, make sure to go see it! I would absolutely adore seeing him as a judge on American Idol."
